here was a time when children had to go outside and play for exercise and human interaction, although unfortunately that time has all but passed. The technological age has given children (and adults) numerous excuses to not exercise or interact with others. For some reason, we have become obsessed with doing activities such as playing a musical instrument or sport in a virtual form, rather than actually learning the practical skills to do them in real life. Exercising outside is, and always will be, one of the healthiest things you can do and it has so many positive benefits. 




Basketball, like many other sports, keeps children physically fit. Regardless of if they play the game casually or in a competitive way, it promotes the burning of calories, builds strength and endurance, and improves hand-eye coordination and balance. Basketball is a physically demanding game that involves dribbling while running, passing, shooting, rebounding, playing defense, jumping and dunking. Due to how fast-paced any game can be, children have the opportunity to build muscle while learning self-discipline and the fundamentals for the game and, as an extension of this, life itself.
