saudi turf team The Benefits of Anti-Fatigue Rubber Matting

How do mats reduce fatigue?

If a person is allowed to stand on an anti-fatigue mat, their muscles will subtly contract and expand as they adjust to the flexibility of the mat. These subtle muscle movements or 'micro contractions' increase the blood-flow and increases the amount of oxygen reaching the muscles, thus greatly reducing fatigue. Rubber mats are ideal for this purpose as they force the user's leg muscles to adjust to the flexible surface.
Rubber mats can also improve blood circulation by insulating the feet from a cold floor. The heart has to work hard to keep circulation going in the body's extremities, and this is greatly impeded in cold conditions because the arteries, veins and capillaries are forced to close. This is the body's heat-retention mechanism at work. Blood is diverted away from parts of the body exposed to cold in order to reduce the amount of heat lost through the surface of the skin. However, over longer periods this leads to numbness, stiffness and numerous circulatory health risks.
Keeping the feet insulated from the cold will keep the arteries, veins and capillaries open which in turn improves blood circulation and reduces discomfort and risks to health.
Anti-fatigue mats can thus improve productivity and employee well-being. By reducing an employee's energy consumption and easing fatigue, the individual is able to carry out tasks for much longer periods and with greater efficiency.
